Job summary

Power Connector, LLC is seeking a Design Engineer to advance new product introductions and connector design iterations. You will drive design enhancements, contribute to sustainability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow the business.

The role focuses on creating CAD models in SolidWorks, analyzing manufacturability, and maintaining design documentation while coordinating with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 3–5 years of design engineering experience.
• 2–5 years of electrical connector design experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and GD&T concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with R&D, new product introduction, and production deployment.
• Create CAD models, drawings, specs, and prototypes using SolidWorks.
• Modify existing products to improve efficiency and performance.
• Design for manufacturability and analyze materials/costs.
• Ensure designs conform to customer and government specs.
• Test designs for safety, usability, and environmental impact.
