Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in geotechnical design, structural analysis and retaining wall design.
• A valid EIT or PE license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, Excel, MSEW and ReSSA.
• Strong mathematical and spatial reasoning abilities.
• Solid soil mechanics knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze geotechnical and retaining wall structures for projects.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop robust solutions.
• Prepare technical drawings and calculations with AutoCAD and ReSSA.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling and reporting.

Our client in Woodstock is looking to hire a Design Engineer! Up to $85k salary

A bit about us:

We are on the hunt for a Design Engineer (EIT or PE) to join our fast-paced and innovative engineering team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in the engineering industry. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about geotechnical design and has a solid understanding of structural analysis, soil mechanics, and retaining wall design. The ideal candidate will have a knack for spatial reasoning and a strong command of AutoCAD, CAD, Excel, MSEW, and ReSSA.
