Job summary

thyssenkrupp rothe erde seeks a CAD engineer to formalize proposal drawings and create detailed bearing race ring drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor. You will work with Application Engineering and SAP to process sales orders and maintain revision levels.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 4 years of related experience, is proficient with CAD software, and has experience with Excel, VBA, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
• CAD experience with Inventor and AutoCAD required.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Excel VBA / Visual Studio experience a plus.
• SQL experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposal drawings as required by Application Engineering and standardized workflow processes.
• Review technical documents.
• Produce detail drawings in accordance with engineering standards.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Create 3D models for Quality CMM inspections.
• Make revisions per standards and manufacturing/customer requests.
• Process sales order entries for new and repeat design using SAP.
• Maintain drawings and revision levels in the ECN system.
• Perform drawing comparisons.
• Support continuous improvement activities.
• Confer with supervisor on issues needing approval.
• Model professional behavior per corporate policy.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety policies.
