You will analyze inquiries, perform calculations, and generate CAD drawings using Autodesk products while aligning with engineering and safety standards.

The role requires collaboration across departments, presenting technical proposals to customers, and occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or four years related experience in product design
• Experience with CAD programs such as Inventor and AutoCAD
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• SAP experience is a plus; Excel VBA and Visual Studio experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze and clarify customer inquiries using application data, loads, and specs
• Select existing designs or create custom bearing designs per customer needs and internal standards
• Perform load, raceway, gear, bolt, and stress calculations
• Prepare drawings and CAD proposals and facilitate cross‑department reviews
• Travel to customer sites as required and support continuous improvement
