Responsibilities

Design and code features for a product used by over 100,000 weekly active users, millions of candidates per week, and notable customers such as Notion, Linear, Shopify, and Snowflake. Work on challenging design problems, expand the in‑house design system, and consult on bespoke design work for Product Engineers.

• Redesign the mobile web app from user interviews through wireframes to full implementation.
• Build a set of flexible, composable components in the design system that allow other engineers to create consistent setup wizards.
• Improve the information hierarchy and scannability of candidate assessment views to help recruiters quickly parse results.

Qualifications

Mid‑level or Senior Design Engineer (2+ years of continuous experience). Must have proficiency in both design and engineering, and a proven ability to ship code to hundreds of users.

• Junior: no more than 2 years of industry experience as a designer or engineer, with projects showing visual taste and talent in UI/UX and basic engineering.
• Mid/Senior: 2+ years of experience, strong proficiency in both disciplines, and a track record of designing products and shipping code to large user bases.
• Staff: significant contributions to a design system and design‑engineering of features for hundreds of users, with iterative improvements based on user feedback.
