Job summary

Westmor Industries, Morris, MN, is seeking a Design Engineer to design layouts, perform design analysis for truck and trailer equipment, implement product improvements, and ensure designs meet engineering standards.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, and ANSYS. You will contribute to ongoing R&D, collaborate across teams, and support manufacturing with accurate drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Training and/or experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, and ANSYS or similar software packages.

A Design Engineer is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Perform design analysis for truck and trailer equipment
• Implement product improvements in an evolving industry
• Evaluate and implement design changes

Compensation

The starting pay range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
