Job summary

Westmor Industries in Morris, MN is seeking a Design Engineer to design layouts, perform design analyses for truck and trailer equipment, and implement product improvements in a dynamic market. You will ensure projects are functional, manufacturable, and meet customer expectations while contributing to ongoing R&D.

Qualifications include a BS in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, and Ansys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, and Ansys or equivalent software.

Responsibilities

• Design layouts for truck and trailer equipment.
• Perform design analyses for components and assemblies.
• Implement product improvements in an evolving industry.
• Evaluate and implement design changes.
• Ensure projects are functional, manufacturable, and meet customer expectations.
• Commit to research and development of products.
• Ensure designs meet Westmor Industries engineering standards and that drawings/BOMs are accurate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
