Job summary

Westmor Industries seeks a Design Engineer in Shawnee, KS to lead design layouts for truck and trailer equipment. You will perform design analyses, implement improvements, and ensure products meet standards and customer expectations.

This role emphasizes hands-on development and collaboration across engineering teams. The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor, and Ansys.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks/Inventor and Ansys
• Strong hands-on design and analysis skills

Responsibilities

• Create design layouts for truck and trailer equipment.
• Perform design analysis and evaluate improvements.
• Ensure designs meet engineering standards and BOM accuracy
• Support ongoing R&D and documentation updates
