Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design seeks an Associate Director of Early Design Education and Design Curriculum Lead to guide the Design Discovery and DDY programs, and coordinate courses within the Undergraduate Architecture Studies track. The role blends leadership, curriculum development, and collaboration with Harvard partners across modalities.

The position is based in Cambridge, MA, with a hybrid work format and regular on-campus presence during sessions.

Qualifications

• College degree; design-related discipline.
• 3 years of design discipline practice in architecture, landscape architecture or urban planning and design; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise students on course selection and curricular planning.
• Oversee independent research courses and thesis evaluations.
• Recommend curricular revisions to improve the student experience.
• Select and supervise Teaching Fellows and section instructors.
• Coordinate with program coordinators and Harvard offices.
• Oversee design discovery programs and faculty to shape curriculum.
