WEG Electric Corp. (USA) in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Design Drafter to create and maintain drawings and documentation for motor, generator and magnetic drive product lines. The role supports orders from proposal through development, manufacturing, testing and aftermarket service.

The position requires drafting experience, knowledge of ISO 9001 and proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and MS Office. It is a full-time, on-site role with potential travel as needed.

Formación

• 2 years technical college or equivalent.
• 2 years college pre-engineering or equivalent.
• Drafting certificate or equivalent.
• 0-7 years' experience in detail and layout drafting.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 documentation requirements.
• Proficient with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communications with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain drawings, designs and specifications for quotations and products.
• Develop project schedules to complete designs on time.
• Resolve production problems and provide technical assistance to shop.
• Ensure manufacturability input is incorporated into designs.
• Support Marketing on inquiries and new orders for feasibility.
