Job summary

Moog Inc in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Design Drafter to join on-site. You will produce drawings and 3D models, coordinate with engineering, sales and program management, and ensure dimensional accuracy and proper tolerances.

The role requires an engineering or design degree with relevant experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficiency in MCAD tools (Siemens NX preferred). Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering or Design related major with 3 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with prior relevant experience.
• Strong drafting practices, machine shop methods, geometry through descriptive geometry, GD&T knowledge.
• Proficiency with MCAD tools; Siemens NX and/or Teamcenter PLM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with functional disciplines to discuss design and fabrication requirements.
• Lead graphical evolution of new products from layout to drawings with correct proportions and dimensions.
• Produce final drawings or 3D/Solid models independently or with others.
• Utilize CAD to produce drawings and layouts for visualization, clearance checks, and CAM information.
• Support Engineering, Sales, and Program Management for bid/proposal layouts and assemblies.
• Organize and plan drawings, check details for completeness, and coordinate projects.
