Job summary

True Consulting Ltd, a multidisciplinary design studio, seeks a Design Director to own the design direction for high-end residential and hospitality projects. This senior, hands-on role partners with the Principal and wider design team to shape concept, narrative and delivery.

You will mentor designers, develop concepts, review work, and balance client vision with budget and programme, while ensuring design intent through all phases.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in architecture or interior design
• Strong portfolio of high-end residential and/or hospitality projects
• Strong conceptual, presentation and communication skills
• Collaborative leadership style with strong emotional intelligence
• Experience mentoring and developing designers
• Able to balance creative ambition with budget, programme and technical requirements
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD; Revit a plus

We are excited to be partnering with a highly regarded multidisciplinary design studio known for its thoughtful approach to high-end residential and hospitality projects. As the studio continues to grow, they are looking for a Design Director to take ownership of the design direction and help shape the next phase of the practice.

This is a senior, hands‑on design role for someone with a strong creative point of view who can work closely with the Principal and wider design team. You will lead design direction, develop concepts and project narratives, and ensure design intent is carried through from concept to completion.

A key part of the role will be mentoring and developing designers through design guidance and feedback, helping to strengthen the creative voice of the wider team. You will also remain closely involved throughout project delivery, finding design solutions to technical and construction challenges while balancing client vision, budget and programme.
