JobDiva, Inc. in Novi, MI is seeking a Design & Development Engineer - Thermal Systems to support the design, development, integration, and change management of automotive thermal systems including HVAC, PTC, piping, and other components.

You will establish physics-based requirements and collaborate with packaging and interface teams. You will own design updates, coordinate with suppliers, develop test plans, and ensure on-time delivery of engineering deliverables to support the product

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience working with packaging, suppliers and test teams is preferred.
• Ability to establish physics-based component requirements for HVAC and piping.
• Experience executing engineering changes and supplier communications.

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

The Design & Development Engineer - Thermal Systems will be responsible for supporting the design, development, integration, and change management of automotive thermal systems, including HVAC, PTC, piping, and other thermal components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish physics-based component requirements for piping, HVAC, PTC, and thermal systems.
• Work with the packaging team on design and coordinate thermal system objectives.
• Ensure critical thermal system requirements are established and met.
• Responsible for design updates within the assigned thermal system area.
• Work with interface teams to balance and resolve system requirements.
• Collaborate with the design/release team to process engineering change orders.
• Take ownership of and implement component changes through the change management process.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships for component issues and technical communications.
• Work with test engineers to establish appropriate test plans.
• Complete engineering deliverables on time to support the product development process.
