Job summary

Senior Design Manager at Black & White Engineering will lead the design process and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, specialists, and partners to deliver high-quality data center projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related technical discipline.
• +5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams delivering complex design projects.
• High level, multidiscipline awareness of MEP systems; data center or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Professional registration, chartership, or progress toward a professional credential.
• Experience across project design/delivery frameworks (e.g., RIBA Stages 0-5).
• Proven ability coordinating internal and external teams across geographies.
• Strong governance, design scope, risk, change, cost, schedule, quality, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design delivery and coordinate internal and external teams across multiple geographies.
• Develop and monitor design schedules, milestones, and governance processes.
• Lead structured client meetings and provide clear decisions, actions, and status updates.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance across projects and teams.
• Collaborate with regional leads to align design management with regional strategies.
