Job summary

Design Within Reach is seeking a Design Specialist for its Pittsburgh store. You will blend design sensibility with consultative selling to deliver exceptional client experiences, representing iconic designers and leading brands.

Report to the General Manager and drive the store’s success through design expertise and relationship-building. You will conduct in-home and on-site consultations, guide product selection, and maintain store visual merchandising standards while staying current on design

Qualifications

• Design-savvy sales approach with a passion for modern interiors.
• Background in retail sales, design consulting, or customer success is preferred.
• Ability to assess client needs and build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized design consultations and solutions to meet client needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, trade professionals, and the local design community.
• Meet and exceed sales performance goals and KPIs such as revenue, conversion, and client retention.
