Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Design Consultant to join our team. This position serves as a primary point of contact for design oversight and strategic coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

You will bridge the gap between client requirements and architectural delivery, ensuring all design solutions align with business objectives, project budgets, and quality standards. Working with project management teams and external architectural practices, you will help shape the built environment,

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.F.A. in Interior Design or BA/MA in Architecture with accreditation.
• NCIDQ certification or architectural registration is preferred.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in commercial project design or management.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance of external design consultants from appointment through construction.
• Ensure all design deliverables meet branding, function, and sustainability goals.
• Facilitate value engineering while preserving design integrity.
• Provide early warnings for potential design schedule delays and mitigate.
• Oversee documentation for permit applications and regulatory submissions.

Education

B.A. or B.F.A. in Interior Design (CAC accreditation)

B.A. or M.A. in Architecture

NCIDQ or architectural registration (preferred)
