Qualifications

• Solid organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple appointments, proposals, and follow-ups efficiently.
• Comfort with basic measurements, spatial awareness, and attention to detail to ensure accurate ordering and installation readiness.
• Proficiency using digital tools (tablets, design apps, CRM or scheduling software) to create quotes, record notes, and manage customer information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain product options and installation processes clearly.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site customer visits throughout the Iowa City-CedarRapids area.
• Prior experience in interior design, home improvement, retail sales, or in-home consulting is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to learn product lines, attend training, and stay current on trends in window treatments and interior design.
