Job summary

Wisenbaker Design Center in Belton, TX is seeking a Design Consultant to guide homebuyers through interior selections, helping personalize homes while maximizing budget efficiency. You will ensure appointments run smoothly, paperwork is accurate, and both buyers and builders are delighted with the showroom experience.

You will maintain product knowledge, track communications, and cross-train across multiple builders and lines to support high-volume cycles and strong builder relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle product samples up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Consult with homebuyers to determine vision, preferences, and budget for interior finishes.
• Professionally sell Wisenbaker and builder products, including upgrades.
• Conduct appointments efficiently and within allocated builder cycle times.
• Review and finalize all necessary paperwork with buyers accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of builder-specific requirements and Wisenbaker products.
• Track emails, quotes, and appointment-related questions for timely follow-up.
• Keep the showroom organized, clean, and ready for appointments.
• Cross-train across multiple builders and product lines to maximize coverage.
• Communicate regularly with builders regarding pending and finalized buyers.
• Follow all builder-specific and Wisenbaker policies and procedures.
