Job summary

Ethan Allen is seeking an Operations Administrator/Visual Merchandiser to support daily operations and merchandising in the Design Center. This role blends administrative duties with visual presentation, ensuring accurate invoicing, inventory control, and customer service excellence.

The position requires an Associates degree-related field and at least two years in a similar retail environment, with strong organizational, accounting, and design knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Fine Arts, Merchandising, Interior Design or equivalency.
• Minimum of two years experience in operations and visual merchandising in a high-end hard line retail environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Design and Management Team to provide exceptional service to customers before and after the sale.
• Assist in procurement of supplies and ensure Design Center operates safely according to policy.
• Maintain a neat and orderly Design Center projection and tag merchandise.
• Manage order status, deliveries, scheduling, and invoicing for completed orders.
• Perform bank reconciliation, charge backs, and ensure cash deposits are reconciled.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory reporting for the Design Center.
