Job summary

Ethan Allen Retail, Inc. is seeking an Operations Administrator to oversee daily operations for 2-3 design retail locations. The role involves coordinating communications with Design Center leadership, ensuring accurate transaction recording, and supporting inventory control.

Travel to area locations weekly, train consultants on clean selling practices, and help improve gross margins through data-driven processes and oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a business environment.
• Some supervisory experience is preferred.
• Good communication skills with the ability to resolve customer problems.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of 2-3 retail design businesses and travel weekly to area locations.
• Coordinate communications and operational procedures with Design Center leadership.
• Audit processes and transactions; ensure accurate recording and deposits.
• Identify and resolve Accounts Receivable issues; monitor invoicing and postings.
• Manage inventory, assets, and cycle counts; support regional leadership reviews.
• Provide training and coaching to staff on selling practices and procedures.
