Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up and renovation projects in a high-end market. Based in Ames, this role focuses on coordinating on-site activities, supervising crews and subs, and ensuring safety and quality from concept through construction start.

The ideal candidate has extensive on-site supervisory experience, strong budgeting skills, and a track record of staying within schedule and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum several years of on-site construction supervision.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules.
• Ability to coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all construction activities on site to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
• Manage and supervise construction personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work aligns with plans and specs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
• Monitor and control project budgets and schedules to meet timelines and budget goals.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders about project status, changes, and risks.
• Maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders, including local officials and clients.
