Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Construction Superintendent to lead a ground-up commercial project in Yorkville, IL. You will oversee all field operations, coordinate multiple trades, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence from mobilization through project closeout.

The role requires 5+ years of superintendent experience on ground-up projects with masonry exposure, a strong understanding of site development, utilities, and concrete work, plus leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Leads and directs field teams to ensure project quality and safety.
• Reads and interprets construction drawings and specs to guide site work.
• Handles problem solving and decision making on-site to maintain schedule and budget.
• Coordinates subcontractors and communicates with stakeholders to keep project on track.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations on the jobsite from mobilization through project completion.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors across trades (masonry, utilities, concrete, etc.).
• Oversee site preparation, grading, underground utilities, and foundations prior to vertical construction.
• Maintain project schedule, monitor workmanship, safety, and quality, and report progress to PM.
