Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Des Moines, IA area to lead design-build initiatives on high-profile projects. You will work directly with leadership, oversee budgeting, scheduling, and RFIs, and drive the project from conception to completion.

This role offers hybrid work flexibility, mentorship from the President, and a benefits package designed to attract top talent. A minimum of 5 years in construction PM is required, CCM or PMP a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management within construction, with a design-build focus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record delivering design-build projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in scheduling and budgeting; knowledge of the RFI process.
• CCM or PMP certification would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the design-build project, ensuring tasks are completed on time, budget and to high quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Manage RFIs promptly and communicate information to all relevant parties.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to create functional project designs.
• Monitor project progress, make adjustments to ensure successful completion.
• Identify potential risks and devise contingency plans to manage them.
• Foster a collaborative environment within the project team and maintain open communication.
• Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and health and safety regulations.
• Liaise with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing queries.
