Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Construction Design/Build Project Manager (DBM) to oversee the full lifecycle of design/build projects. You will partner with clients and design teams to translate preliminary concepts into buildable, cost-efficient solutions and manage the bid, scope and schedule with a focus on quality.

Expect to lead subcontractor selection, drive on-site communication, and deliver accurate estimates while guiding the team through challenges with integrity and strategic

Qualifications

• Accredited program completion in a relevant field (undergrad or grad).
• Interest in design/build and tilt-up/construction processes.
• Experience is preferred but not required.
• GPA of 3.0+ preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.
• Strong verbal communication, detail orientation and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead all project facets from start to finish including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety and proposal development.
• Deliver detailed, reliable project estimates for successful execution.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams to shape preliminary concepts into buildable solutions.
• Participate in proposal meetings, refine scope, reduce costs, and provide value-driven engineering insights.
• Lead subcontractor selection and buyout for cost efficiency and quality.
• Facilitate bi-weekly site meetings to align teams and resolve challenges.
• Make confident decisions under pressure to keep project momentum.
• Coordinate multiple moving parts to align scope, schedule and budget.
• Champion quality and continuous improvement across processes.
• Turn client feedback into outcomes that exceed expectations.
• Lead with integrity and ensure client satisfaction remains central.
