Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a highly motivated Design/Build Manager to lead project performance from day one. You will manage estimating, scheduling, design reviews, cost reporting, and safety while coordinating with owners and the design team.

Ideal candidate has 3–10 years in construction management on commercial projects, BS in Engineering, and strong decision-making under deadlines. The role includes overseeing subcontractors, value engineering, and rigorous quality control with an emphasis

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or related field required.
3-10 years of construction management experience as Project Engineer, APM, or Project Manager on commercial projects.
Ability to effectively make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
Ability to organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
Commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes and making improvements.
Integrity consistent with company values and client expectations.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas.
Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors.
Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site.
Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes and implementing improvements.
Act with integrity and uphold company values while meeting customer requirements.
