ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, in Memphis seeks a Design/Build Manager to drive project performance and profitability from day one. You will be responsible for managerial and administrative aspects, including estimating, scheduling, design review and coordination with owners and the design team on commercial projects.

The role requires strong decision-making under tight deadlines, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality while upholding company values and ethics.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 3–10 years of construction management on commercial projects.
• Ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Commitment to quality and meeting customer expectations.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage all managerial and administrative aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports and safety.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Work with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee buyout process and subcontractor selection.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings on site.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize and manage multiple activities to achieve results.
• Commit to quality by evaluating project processes.
• Meet/exceed client expectations and company values.
