Job summary

Hunter Companies, Eastern Iowa’s premier design build contractor, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead multiple projects from conception through completion in the Cedar Rapids area. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and quality while coordinating a diverse team of owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Construction Management or Engineering and strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, with a proven track record

Qualifications

• Construction Management or Engineering degree required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in design/build projects and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects through the design/build lifecycle.
• Develop budgets, schedules and value engineering options.
• Negotiate contracts and purchase orders with vendors.
• Coordinate with owners, architects and subcontractors.
