Job summary

ARCO/Murray is seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join the Dallas market. This role supports the design/build process by performing site due diligence, designing land development concept plans, and guiding clients through initial steps to bring their building to life.

You will draft multi-building land development plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D, perform stormwater and utility design calculations, and collaborate with internal and external clients to define project direction and feasibility.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• 2–8 years’ land planning experience in Dallas.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience creating templates/styles is a plus.
• Ability to perform stormwater detention analysis and site utility design calculations.
• Ability to read local zoning codes, FEMA floodmaps, and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Research and collect site-specific information to initiate land development and perform due diligence.
• Design and draft multi-building land development concept plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D for commercial/industrial uses.
• Prepare schematic site plans, grading, and utilities to illustrate developability based on constraints.
• Perform stormwater detention, site utility design, and earthwork analysis for cost and constructability.
• Meet with clients to review concepts and define project direction with the Design/Build team.
