Job summary

TYG, a civil engineering consulting firm serving the Dallas–Fort Worth market, seeks Civil Engineers at various levels to support growth in land development projects. The role focuses on site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater, with increasing project responsibility in a collaborative design environment.

You'll design land development projects from concept through construction, prepare plans and permit submittals, and coordinate with clients and municipalities.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate land development projects from concept through construction.
• Prepare site layouts, grading plans, utility plans, drainage plans, and construction documents.
• Perform stormwater calculations and assist with drainage and utility design.
• Prepare plans, specifications, reports, and permit submittals.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, surveyors, architects, and subconsultants.
• Attend project and municipal meetings and assist with the permitting and approval process.
• Work closely with Project Managers and senior engineers to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
• Take on increasing responsibility for project coordination and client interaction as experience develops.

Our client, a growing civil engineering consulting firm with a strong reputation in land development, is seeking Civil Engineers at various levels to support continued growth across the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

This is an opportunity for engineers with experience in land development, site design, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater who are looking to take on increasing project responsibility within a collaborative, design-focused environment. The role offers exposure to a range of private development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate land development projects from concept through construction
• Prepare site layouts, grading plans, utility plans, drainage plans, and construction documents
• Perform stormwater calculations and assist with drainage and utility design
• Prepare plans, specifications, reports, and permit submittals
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, surveyors, architects, and subconsultants
