Job summary

ARCO/Murray is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Austin market, focusing on the design/build process. You will perform site due diligence, design and draft land development concept plans, and guide clients through initial steps toward building their project.

The role requires 2–8 years of land planning experience in Austin and a BS in Civil Engineering. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required; PE is a plus and licensure support is available.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–8 years’ land planning experience in Austin.
• PE license is a plus, ARCO/Murray supports licensure pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Perform site due diligence for land development.
• Design and draft land development concept plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D for commercial/industrial uses.
• Prepare schematic site plans, grading, and utility plans.
• Perform stormwater detention analysis, site utility design, and earthwork analysis.
• Meet with clients to review concepts and define project direction with the design/build team.
