Job summary

Kingdom Development Group Incorporated is seeking a Design Automation Lead to advance our capabilities in computational and generative design within the AEC sector. You will standardize tools, establish QA processes, and build firm-wide expertise through ongoing education.

You will explore emerging technologies, guide implementation, and act as a thought leader to drive new business models and performance improvements. A strong leadership mindset is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interactive Media Design, CS, Software/Hardware Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with Grasshopper, Dynamo, Autodesk Forge platforms.
• Experience Python, C# preferred.
• Strong understanding of the AEC industry.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design automation initiatives across the firm.
• Standardize tools and ensure QA and process documentation.
• Build internal expertise and continuing education.
• Identify new technologies for design automation and ML in AEC.
• Drive R&D into emerging technologies and act as thought leader.
• Identify and pursue process improvement opportunities.
• Manage a team; perform other duties as required.
