Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Design Technology AI Lead to drive externally sourced AI tools across Architecture & Engineering, Civil, and Construction. You will own the production process and collaborate with Design Technology Leads to embed tools into real project workflows.

This hybrid role offers the chance to pilot Autodesk Assistant, Forma AI, and SketchUp AI, build ROI analyses, and mentor AI Champions while aligning with the AI roadmaps. Travel may be required up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s preferred in a related field; or 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
• Experience evaluating, piloting, or deploying software and AI tools in a design or production environment.
• Experience managing a product roadmap or vendor relationships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Core States Group's Design Technology AI Leader for externally sourced tools.
• Own the AI Enablement Charter for external AI tools across all business lines.
• Scout, evaluate, and pilot third-party AI tools for production needs.
• Build ROI analyses and rollout plans; own go/no-go decisions for floor adoption.
• Collaborate with Design Technology Leads to embed tools into workflows.
• Support AI Champions on the production floor and identify best-fit solutions.
• Coordinate with Product Manager to align external and internal AI roadmaps.
• Define adoption metrics and manage vendor trials and licensing.
• Develop training materials and lead onboarding for new tools.
• Report progress and roadmap milestones to the Director of Design Technology.
