Job summary

Lava Island is seeking an accomplished mechanical/product designer to own the original design of playground and jump deck equipment, built in Autodesk Inventor, from concept to build-ready specs. You will also design automation with iLogic to scale APS production.

This is a from-scratch role: lead the move from AutoCAD to Inventor, create training materials, and coach the team as you implement the new workflow. Denver-based, on-site with minimal travel, benefits program included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical or product design with original design work in Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Design playground and jump deck equipment from concept through build-ready specification in Autodesk Inventor.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, manufacturability, and design standards compliance.
• Build a library of reusable design templates, standard parts, and design documentation.
