Job summary

DIS-TRAN Steel is seeking a Design Automation Engineer to join the Pineville Plant. You will bridge Engineering, Operations, CAD platform development, ERP/MES teams and future automation initiatives, developing intelligent Inventor models, templates and automation rules to improve design quality and readiness.

The role focuses on translating engineering requirements into scalable digital workflows, with emphasis on metadata, reusable content, and engineering productivity.

• Translate calculations, standards and manufacturing needs into structured model parameters and reusable content.
• Promote model-based engineering practices to reduce repetitive work and variation.
