Job summary

Kingdom Development Group Incorporated is seeking a Design Automation Leader to drive tool adoption and standardization across the AEC practice. You will build firm-wide expertise, lead education programs, and pursue emerging technologies in computational and parametric design and ML for AEC.

The role requires strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team, with experience in Grasshopper, Dynamo and Autodesk Forge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interactive Media Design, CS, Software/Hardware Engineering or related field required.
• Experience with Grasshopper, Dynamo and Autodesk Forge platforms required.
• Experience Python and C# preferred.
• Strong understanding of the AEC industry.
• Business acumen and ability to execute strategy.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand the range of design automation tools and have some expertise across them.
• Lead standardization of design automation tools and define QA, process docs, and KPIs.
• Build technical expertise firm-wide and lead ongoing education in these tools.
• Identify new technologies related to design automation, computational and parametric design and ML for AEC.
• Collaborate with management to prioritize new business models.
• Drive R&D into emerging technologies as they filter into the AEC industry.
• Act as an internal and external thought leader on related topics.
• Identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as required.
