Job summary

Core States Group seeks a Design Technology AI Lead to own the production process for externally sourced AI tools and drive the AI Enablement Charter across Architecture & Engineering, Civil, and Construction. You will scout and pilot tools like Autodesk Assistant, Forma AI, and SketchUp AI to boost production efficiency.

You will partner with Design Technology Leads to close workflow gaps, build ROI analyses, and roll out tools with a strong emphasis on adoption metrics.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; or 10+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must have 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry (10+ years accepted in lieu of a degree).
• Experience evaluating, piloting, or deploying software and AI tools in a design or production environment.
• Experience managing a product roadmap or vendor relationships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CSG's Design Technology AI Leader for externally sourced AI tools and own the production process.
• Own execution of the AI Enablement Charter for external AI tools across all CSG business lines.
• Scout, evaluate, and pilot third-party AI tools such as Autodesk Assistant, Forma AI, and SketchUp AI.
• Build the business case, ROI analysis, and rollout plan for tools that pass evaluation; own go/no-go decisions.
• Partner with Design Technology Leads to identify workflow gaps and embed tools into content and templates.
• Support AI Champions on the production floor and research best-fit solutions for workflows.
• Coordinate with the Design Technology Product Manager to align external and internal AI roadmaps.
• Define and track adoption and success metrics for each tool.
• Manage vendor relationships, trials, and licensing for tools.
• Develop training materials and lead onboarding for new tools.
