Job summary

Gentex Corp in Carbondale, PA seeks a Design Assurance Engineer to provide quality and test support across new product development. You will design and implement test plans, lead test activities, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure product integrity.

The role requires 3–5 years in quality or systems engineering, a BS in engineering, and proficiency with MATLAB, LabVIEW, and data analysis tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or 4 years’ experience in QA, QA engineering, test verification, or systems engineering.
AS degree with 3-5 years equivalent experience considered.
CQE certification would be considered a benefit.

Responsibilities

Provide independent analysis of engineering designs for manufacturability, reliability and safety.
Design, document and implement test plans for developmental programs.
Lead test activities; develop test plans/procedures and test reports.
Coordinate inspection/test requests for developmental items and ensure first article inspections.
Develop quality requirements for prototype and pre-production hardware.
Support design readiness and production readiness reviews.
