The successful candidate will be expected to interact and entertain the audience and perform all other duties deemed appropriate for this role. The successful candidate must be positive and outgoing, with a personable, respectful, and professional work ethic. This role represents the University as the official Mascot/Spotter, involving public exposure in competitions, in the media, and on-campus grounds. This position is highly visible in a number of communities; the University, local municipalities, Hancock County, and the State of Ohio. This position required exemplary conduct. This position requires compliance with the rules and regulations of the NCAA, the Athletic Department, the Office of Marketing and Communication, and the University of Findlay.**Essential Functions** 1. Must complete required training for this position 2. Perform as mascot for on-campus and/or off-campus events, both indoors and outdoors 3. Interact with audience and attendees 4. Spotter must assist the mascot with getting into and out of the costume 5. Assist with cleaning and maintaining the costume 6. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work** Hours and days of work will vary. This position is as-needed for campus games and events. Must be available to work weekend, evenings, and weekdays.**Travel** Some travel may be required in this position.**Required Education and Experience** 1.
