Job summary

Wabash Valley Power seeks an Operational Technology Systems Administrator to manage the DERMS platform, configure assets, and ensure system health. The role emphasizes operational support, telemetry, dashboards, and secure IT/OT collaboration with field and IT teams.

Ideal candidates will have experience with utility OT systems (SCADA/EMS/ADMS/DMS) and a willingness to learn DERMS specifics; structured training is provided. This is a full-time on-site position in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in electric utility, technology, engineering, or OT environment.
• Experience administering, configuring, or supporting SCADA, EMS, ADMS/DMS, OMS, distribution automation, or industrial control systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to interpret docs, diagrams, and logs.
• Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing configurations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the DERMS application, including users, permissions, asset configurations, telemetry, alarms, dashboards, and settings.
• Provide operational support to ensure uptime, performance, and security; perform upgrades and patching.
• Support integration of DERMS with SCADA, ADMS, and other utility systems; monitor data flows and troubleshoot.
• Monitor performance; investigate data-quality issues; maintain DER asset information and docs.
• Assist with onboarding new distributed energy resources within DERMS.
