Job summary

Epiphany Dermatology in Waco, TX is seeking a Full-time Grossing Technician to support our dermatopathology lab. The role involves delivering safe and accurate lab services, preparing tissue samples, and maintaining compliance with lab regulations. You will work under supervision of the Dermatopathologist and Pathologists’ Assistant.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of related laboratory experience, an appropriate science-focused degree, and U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related laboratory experience.
• Associates or higher with required science credits.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and accurate lab services under supervision.
• Complete training on Epiphany laboratory protocols and testing imperatives.
• Perform administrative lab duties within scope of practice.
• Document results in the EHR and required paper documentation.
• Prepare and organize patient tissue samples for microscopic evaluation.
• Assist with lab send-outs and compliance paperwork.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service in person or by phone.
