Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to act as the primary customer contact, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and guiding them through the payer environment. The role includes implementing marketing strategies and promoting Amgen products under the District Manager’s guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR
• Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and assist with payer navigation.
• Deliver branded sales messages and participate in planned programs to meet territory targets.
• Develop relationships to service accounts, discuss patient needs, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Contribute to territory planning and share best practices with colleagues to grow as a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative.
