Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Complex Scheduler to manage multi-service coordination for the Dermatology MOHS team and related clinics in Minneapolis. You will be the primary contact for appointments, imaging, labs, and procedures, ensuring seamless sequencing across locations.

The role requires strong scheduling, patient communication, and Epic/Office tool proficiency, with a focus on exceptional service and care coordination within a busy health system.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a healthcare setting/practice.
• 1 year completing scheduling and registration of appointments.
• 1 year practicing good public relations, customer service, time management, prioritization, and patient communication skills.
• 1 year proficient use of computer keyboarding and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Pre & Post-Appointment Support and serve as a single point of contact for coordinating appointments, procedures and labs.
• Accurately navigate complex service protocols and provide patients with timely information and updates.
• Maintain awareness of competing priorities and ensure appointments, labs, and imaging are sequenced appropriately.
• Collaborate with clinicians, schedulers, and care teams to align schedules across locations.
• Review patient messages in Epic inbox and MyChart and communicate updates to providers and patients.
• Prepare schedules for physicians providing care at outreach clinics, hospitals, and procedure centers.
