First OC Dermatology in Orange County is seeking a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our dermatology team. This role focuses on general and medical dermatology with a real path into cosmetics for providers who want one, with on-site supervision and mentorship.

Located in Orange County near Irvine, the position offers training to grow cosmetic procedures and a strong patient-centered practice, supported by integrated EMR and comprehensive administrative help.

Qualifications

• CA PA or NP license (active, unrestricted) required.
• NCCPA certification for PA or national board certification for NP.
• Dermatology experience preferred; 2 years.
• Current DEA registration and CA furnishing number for NP.

Responsibilities

• General and medical dermatology care: skin cancer screenings, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, biopsies, excisions, in-office procedures.
• Path to grow a cosmetic practice with neuromodulators, fillers, peels, and laser treatments.
• Training and mentorship to build cosmetic volume; schedule time added as service line grows.
• On-site collaboration with board-certified dermatologists and integrated EMR with full admin support.

Job description

First OC Dermatology is seeking a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our Orange County team. This is primarily a medical dermatology role, and it comes with a real path into cosmetics for a provider who wants one. The cosmetic side of your schedule can grow as you build it, with training and mentorship along the way.

The Opportunity

• Primarily general and medical dermatology: skin cancer screenings, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, biopsies, excisions, and in office procedures
• A genuine path to grow a cosmetic practice, including neuromodulators, fillers, chemical peels, and laser and energy based treatments
• Training and mentorship to build cosmetic volume, with schedule time added as the service line grows
• Established patient volume from a practice with a long history in the community
• On site collaboration and supervision from experienced board certified dermatologists
• Exposure to clinical research through the practice's research division, for providers with that interest
• Integrated EMR and full administrative support so that your time stays with patients

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or an accredited nurse practitioner program
• Active, unrestricted California PA or NP license, or the ability to obtain one prior to start date (required)
• NCCPA certification for physician assistants, or national board certification for nurse practitioners
• Dermatology experience preferred; 2 years
• Current DEA registration, and a California furnishing number for nurse practitioners
• Interest in developing a cosmetic practice over time
• Strong, patient centered communication skills and a team oriented approach
• Bilingual Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus given the patient population
