Job summary

First OC Dermatology is seeking a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner for medical dermatology with a clear path into cosmetics. On-site collaboration with experienced dermatologists and mentorship will help you grow cosmetic volume, including neuromodulators, fillers and lasers, as you build patient relationships.

The practice offers integrated EMR support and a long-standing community presence, with opportunities to expand cosmetics as you gain volume and expertise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program
• Active, unrestricted California PA or NP license
• NCCPA certification for PAs or national board for NPs
• Dermatology experience preferred; 2 years
• Current DEA registration and CA furnishing number
• Interest in developing a cosmetic practice over time
• Strong, patient-centered communication and a team approach
• Bilingual Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus

Responsibilities

• Primarily general and medical dermatology duties including screenings
• In-office procedures, biopsies and excisions as needed
• Grow cosmetic services (neuro modulators, fillers, peels, lasers)
• Training/mentorship and supervision by board-certified dermatologists
• Integrated EMR and full administrative support

Job description

First OC Dermatology is seeking a full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our Orange County team. This is primarily a medical dermatology role, and it comes with a real path into cosmetics for a provider who wants one. The cosmetic side of your schedule can grow as you build it, with training and mentorship along the way.

The Opportunity

• Primarily general and medical dermatology: skin cancer screenings, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, biopsies, excisions, and in office procedures
• A genuine path to grow a cosmetic practice, including neuromodulators, fillers, chemical peels, and laser and energy based treatments
• Training and mentorship to build cosmetic volume, with schedule time added as the service line grows
• Established patient volume from a practice with a long history in the community
• On site collaboration and supervision from experienced board certified dermatologists
• Exposure to clinical research through the practice's research division, for providers with that interest
• Integrated EMR and full administrative support so that your time stays with patients
