Atrius Health, part of Optum, seeks a Physician Assistant to join our Dermatology team in Wellesley, MA. You will perform physical assessments, triage urgent issues, and help manage patient care alongside dermatology physicians.

This full-time role includes minor procedures and collaboration with specialists, within a physician-led, value-based care system that supports professional growth and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant degree program.
• Active and unrestricted PA license in Massachusetts.
• Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Two years of dermatology experience.
• Maintains BLS certification and professional certification as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessments in Dermatology and triages urgent vs emergent problems.
• Assesses and treats patients with support from physician colleagues.
• Develops a care plan and may prescribe medications or other treatments.
• Performs minor procedures such as suturing and lesion excision.
• Collaborates with physicians; orders/interprets labs and tests; participates in continuity of care.
