Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, seeks a Physician Assistant to join our Dermatology team in Wellesley, MA. This full-time role supports clinical assessments, minor procedures, and coordinated patient care within a physician-led practice.

You will perform physical assessments, triage dermatology conditions, assist in procedures like suturing and lesion excision, and collaborate with physicians to manage patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant degree program.
• Active and unrestricted PA license in the State of Massachusetts.
• Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire.
• Two years of dermatology experience.
• Maintains BLS certification, professional certification as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized dermatology conditions and triages to specialists.
• Performs minor operative procedures including suturing and lesion excision.
• Collaborates with physicians in management of patient care, orders labs, assists in procedures, and maintains continuity of care.
• This is a full time position, Monday through Friday.
