Job summary

Atrius Health in eastern Massachusetts seeks a Dermatologist to assess, diagnose and treat patients within a team-based, value-driven care model. You’ll work with primary care and specialty colleagues to provide high-quality, evidence-based care for a diverse population.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Dermatology.
• Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations.
• Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions.
• Develop and implement a plan of care for these patients, and prescribe medications, exercises and/or other treatments.
• Collaborates with clinical and administrative teams in management of patient care; maintains continuity of care through information exchange with outside health and social agencies.
• Serves as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists; consults with primary care providers on issues related to patient care.
• Teaches and counsels individuals and groups with regard to specific health care needs; acts as an educator in areas of specialization.
• Participates in the development of health education programs.
