Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Medical Assistant in Greenwich, CT to support dermatology procedures and patient care. You will assist providers, prepare exam rooms, manage inventory, and handle scheduling and payments with HIPAA compliance.

The role requires previous healthcare experience, certification, and proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced team, maintain accuracy, and deliver high-quality service during extended hours within our clinic.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dermatology or medical environment preferred.
• High attention to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation.
• Proficiency with EMR, scheduling tools, and basic office software.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Foster a welcoming, professional environment to support patient care.
• Assist providers with medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is ready for procedures.
• Maintain inventory and daily records of supplies.
• Handle payments, charges, and end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Manage patient scheduling, insurance info, and HIPAA compliance.
• Document treatments, lab orders, and patient consent forms.
• Respond to calls, confirm appointments, and support patient flow.
• Keep a clean, organized, privacy-conscious work area.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors.
