Job summary

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Strong communication in English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to work in a team and manage patient care.

Responsibilities

• Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient medical data.
• Diagnoses conditions, evaluates skin diseases, orders tests, and interprets results.
• Treats skin illnesses, injuries, malignancies, infections, and other conditions.
• Performs injections and other procedures as appropriate.
• Assists physicians in surgeries, excises lesions, and provides wound care.
• Develops patient management plans and records progress notes.
• Educates patients on adherence to prescribed therapies and health maintenance.
• Prescribes medications under physician supervision.
• Adheres to safety policies and delivers high-quality patient service.
• Performs other duties as necessary.
