Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of dermatology-provider experience.
• Dermatology experience required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Excellent English communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient data.
• Diagnoses skin conditions and orders/interprets diagnostic tests as needed.
• Performs injections and assists in surgical procedures for dermatology.
• Develops patient management plans and maintains progress notes.
• Counsels patients regarding prescribed regimens and health maintenance.
• Prescribes/ administers medications under physician supervision.
• Adheres to safety policies and supports high-quality patient care.
• Assists in continuity of care and related duties as required.
